Prof Kent SO graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently the Director of Structural Heart Interventions in the Prince of Wales Hospital and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received the prestigious Sir David Todd Scholarship to further his advanced structural heart intervention training at Henry Ford Hospital in USA in 2018-2019. He has widely published in different cardiovascular journals including JACC, JACC Intervention, Eurointervention and JAHA. He is currently a physician proctor of numerous structural heart interventions including different TAVI devices, MitraClip/TriClip and LAAO devices. His research interests include the epidemiology, diagnosis and management of heart failure and valvular heart disease, device and technique innovation in structural heart interventions, application of big data analysis and artificial intelligence in structural heart disease and heart failure, cardiogenic shock and mechanical circulatory support.
